Dear friends, I’ve been inside too much in the last few weeks. Semi-convalescence is apparently not something I do well. I’ve been trying very hard to allow my toe it’s healing time but it seems even at home, and especially with the pressures of house showings, I’m getting nowhere.
In the meantime, I’m also going a bit batty not getting appropriate doses of Vitamin N. As fond as I am of this image from the Mojave, gazing upon pictures of fabulous outdoor adventures past isn’t quite getting me by. Time to rectify the situation and get out to explore some nearby natural treasure.
I believe that there is a subtle magnetism in Nature, which, if we unconsciously yield to it, will direct us aright. ~Henry David Thoreau
Where do you go for a dose of nature to set your mood aright?

Time to right my off-kilter existence in suburbia with a soul-restoring dose of Vitamin N…broken toe be damned.

My dose was at Cades Cove last week. The serenity is truly spiritual. A great drive and a great hike to Abrams Falls.

So glad you got your dose, especially since it means you’re feeling better! The Smokies are a great place to push your reset button. Next time we’ll have to head up together.
