Last Reflections of Winter

I’ve written a bit in recent months about my conversion from South Florida girl to winter-cold-weather-embracing North Georgia girl. One of the things I love about being in a place with a true winter is the bare trees. Being able to ponder their intricate structures, I feel that in winter we get to see the secrets they hide the rest of the year. So as the buds are beginning to shroud these beautiful skeletons once again, I wanted one last chance to reflect on the beauty of winter because even in its starkness, there is so much to be discovered.

In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous. ~Aristotle

One last salute to winter… it’s now time to embrace the beauty of flowers and the misery of pollen.
