A Decade of George
Dearest Camp Granola friends, our “little” George turns ten today. And while the decade marks seem to be intriguing to all of us, for George ten is an especially magical number. For those of you who don’t know, my sweet boy was ten days late in his arrival and that entrance to the world was marked by a maternal-body-destroying birthweight of 10 pounds 10 ounces. But no matter the delay or physical strain of your arrival, my darling boy, you are a delightful partner in the adventures of life!
George through the years…
George was a fussy baby which kept us exploring close to home in the early days.
My happy little papoose on the trail.
Fred and George have been trail buddies from the beginning.
Like may younger siblings, George was never one to be left on the sidelines.
Where else for Geography George’s 5th birthday… See Seven States
That’s my boy… a love of Great Sand Dunes at the tender age of 6.
Playing ogre at Vogel State Park
Three states at once is a thrill for geography-boy.
Geocaching the E.T. Highway… quite a feat for a nine-year-old.
Lots of adventures in his short ten years!
Here’s to another ten years of adventure my sweet boy!
And now for your moment of green…
Happy Birthday George… and happy trails.
